LG works on flagship D1L smartphone

The smartphone competition has been heating up recently with countless new brands, models and sizes and the only way to stay alive in this business is to churn out newer and newer models. LG seems to have understood this message as the Korean company is currently working on a new flagship smartphone that is dubbed D1L.

The novelty is expected to make its official appearance in just a few weeks but right now details are scarce. What’s known is that the device will get a 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and will support 3G and LTE. The hardware inside will include a dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 processor at 1.5 GHz and an Adreno 225 GPU.

The upcoming LG D1L is expected to be the first company’s smartphone that comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich pre-installed.
