More details on the Galaxy C5 and C7 smartphones

The Samsung Galaxy C5 smartphone has been floating in the news bulletins in the past month and we even published its expected tech specs about a month ago. There hasn’t been a word on the Galaxy C7 that will accompany the C5, though, but a new leak has described this handset too. It turns out that the main differences between the Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 will be minor.

So, the Galaxy C7, being a smartphone that sits a bit higher than the Galaxy C5, will come with a 5.7-inch display that works at Full HD resolution, a Snapdragon 617 processor, 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB/64 GB of internal memory, a 3300 mAh battery, a 16 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front one and Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The device will be available in four colors – gray, pink, silver and gold. In case you don’t remember the specs of the Galaxy C5, here they are – just toss the 5.7-inch display and the 3300 mAh battery of the C7 and replace them with a 5.2-inch screen and a 2600 mAh battery and you will have the C5 ready. All the tech specs are the same.

The Galaxy C7 is expected to sell for around USD 276 when it gets launched and the C5 will retail for approximately USD 245. These prices are for online stores only so the prices in retail stores may be higher. The two new smartphones are expected this summer.
