Nokia outs Lumia 525 smartphone

Nokia has officially presented a new budget-oriented smartphone known as Lumia 525. The device is small measuring 119.9 x 64 x 9.9 mm for total weight of 124 grams and is here to succeed the popular Lumia 520 model. The Nokia Lumia 525 device also runs Windows Phone 8 and offers three colors to choose from – white, yellow and red.

The Lumia 525 has a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor at 1 GHz and a 4-inch sensor IPS display at 800 x 480 pixels. The rest of the specs include 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory, 7 GB of free cloud storage, a microSD card slot, 5 MP rear camera and more. Of course there’s Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0 and other technologies too. A 1430 mAh battery powers the device.

The new Nokia Lumia will be on the market in December. The expected price for them will be USD 180.
