Samsung plans Galaxy Star Pro smartphone

The South Korean smartphone giant Samsung will soon start sales of a new budget-oriented smartphone known as Galaxy Star Pro (GT-S7260). The new company product measures 121.2 x 62.7 x 10.6 mm and weighs 121 grams.

The Galaxy Star Pro will be based on a single core Cortex-A5 processor at 1 GHz and will have a 4-inch sensor display at WVGA resolution (480 x 800 pixels), 512 MB RAM, 4 GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 32 GB), a rear 2 MP camera, a microUSB port, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11n Wi-Fi and a 1500 mAh battery.

The Galaxy Star Pro will first appear on the Indian market and maybe then on other markets around the world. The device will run Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and will sell for USD 110 being available in black and white colors only.
