Samsung prepares Galaxy Axiom smartphone

Sources close to the US cell phone operator Cellular have disclosed that Samsung prepares a new smartphone – Galaxy Axiom – that will soon be available through Cellular’s network.

The Samsung Galaxy Axiom model SCH-R830 will be based on a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor Qualcomm MSM8960 and will feature a 4-inch WVGA display at 800 x 480 pixels. The smartphone will also carry 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, a rear 5 MP camera with a LED flash and a front 1.3 MP camera. The smartphone also supports LTE.

The Samsung Galaxy Axiom model number SCH-R830 will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and will cost less than USD 100 when purchased with a contract.
