Samsung prepares powerful new A-series smartphones

The first representatives of the Samsung Galaxy A line of smartphones came into existence about a year ago, which is a long time period in the world of digital devices. So with Christmas coming in less than two months Samsung is preparing new Galaxy A smartphones that will retire last year’s models.

The good news is that the devices that will be coming to us will be significantly improved. The new Galaxy A3 (this is still not an official name) will arrive with an improved 4.7-inch display that will work at HD resolution (the older A3 has a 960 x 540 pixel display). The device will also have a more powerful Exynos 7580 processor with eight Cortex-A53 cores and Mali-T720 graphics compared to the Snapdragon 410 processor in the current A3 generation. In addition to this the new smartphone will have 1.5 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory and two cameras at 13 MP and 5 MP (rear/front). All these features make us believe that the new A3 will be a much better smartphone than the original one.

The Galaxy A7 will also be updated but there’s less information on this matter. The device will come with more RAM memory that will amount to 3 GB but there aren’t any other changes as of now, which means that the new A7 will have a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a Snapdragon 615 processor, 16 GB of internal memory and a 13 MP/5 MP camera combo. This is strange but like we said all this is preliminary information so Samsung may surprise us nicely when the time comes.
