Sony ships cheapest ICS smartphone ever

Sony has announced possibly the cheapest smartphone, based on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out there.

Expected on August 17, the Sony Mobile Xperia Tipo packs a 3.2-inch capacitive display working at 480 x 320 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7225-A processor at 800 MHz, 512 MB of RAM, 2.9 GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for future expansion. Furthermore the smartphone offers a 3.2 MP camera, Wi-Fi support, GPS, Bluetooth, a 1500 mAh battery and Sony’s own xLOUD audio technology.
