Sony unveils budget Xperia E smartphones

Sony has unveiled yet another Xperia smartphone, this time carrying the E letter. The new Xperia E will be available in two versions – with one and with two SIM cards and will hit the market in Q1 2013.

The upcoming Xperia E will feature a 3.5-inch HVGA 320 x 480 pixel display and a 1 GHz processor. Other specs include a 1500 mAh battery, support for two SIM cards (for the dual SIM model), HD Voice features, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and special software that can disable unused smartphone features to save battery power.

The Sony Xperia E will also sport several colors – black, white and pink – but as of now pricing is unknown.
