Sony’s Xperia C5 Ultra will be bezel free

A new leak online has described an upcoming smartphone by Sony that will be called Xperia C5 Ultra. The device was in the news a while ago, being named Sony Lavender but as you can see there’s a name change.

The main feature of the Xperia C5 Ultra is that it will be a smartphone with no bezels. This means that the handset will sport a display that completely covers its sides. The device will also have a front camera with LED flash, 16 GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot and a MediaTek MT6752 octa-core processor, along with 2 GB of RAM. There will be two cameras as well – a rear at 13 MP and a front one at 5 MP. The display will measure 5.5 inches and will operate at 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD).

The Xperia C5 Ultra will be on the market this August. No word on pricing as of now.
