Versace Unique, luxury touch-screen phone launched

Versace Unique Mobile DeviceVersace and ModeLabs Group announced today the launch of the first luxury touch-screen and full-featured multimedia creation, the Versace Unique. The device will be sold through the most exclusive jewelry network and Versace flagship boutiques around the world from early June, 2010.

Versace Unique is manufactured from the finest materials and is hand-assembled in France. Built to the uncompromising standards of all the Versace products, the Versace Unique unites all essential functions for professional and personal use. The face of the Versace Unique is constructed from pure high-tech ceramic or handmade lacquers delicately framed with an 18k Yellow Gold Finish or 316L grade stainless steel inlay. The back of the unique device is wrapped in the finest handcrafted leather and embossed with the Medusa head. The Versace Unique sapphire crystal screen is impossible to scratch, and is the largest single piece of this high-tech material ever produced for consumers. The crystal screen provides an ideal conductivity and precision control of the touch phone interface.

Beneath this stunning exterior of the Versace Unique lies a technology manufactured by LG that guarantees a seamless interface and functionality.

The Versace Unique features all the functions of a normal cell phone including 3G network, client e-mail, media players, five megapixel flash camera and netbook. The device also features an unprecedented Dolby Mobile surround sound technology for high quality audio, with thirty hours of playtime.

Chief Executive Officer of Versace Group, Gian Giacomo Ferraris, explained that they are very excited about Versace Unique, and that their team has worked well with their partners at Modelabs to manufacture a very innovative product which perfectly blends luxury materials, craftsmanship and the advanced technologies of LG.
