Leica has added a new superzoom digital camera to their line up with the launch of the Leica V-Lux 2, which offering lens with 24x optical zoom (25mm – 600mm equiv.) in compact body.
The Leica V-Lux 2 features a 14.1 megapixel CMOS image sensor, equipped with a LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT 4.5 – 108 mm f/2.8 – 5.2 ASPH. lens, 1080i video recording in AVCHD format, a 3-inch 460K pixel resolution rotating LCD display and a wide variety of video functions. In addition camera has an integrated stereo microphone with an electronic wind noise filter and also Leica claims that V-Lux 2 is one of the world’s fastest consecutive-shooting cameras, offering high-speed burst shooting capability of 11 frames per second at the full resolution of 14.1 MP, or 60 frames per second with a resolution of 2.8 MP.
The camera will be launched in October for £675 (around $1,050)
