Sony outs SRS-A3, SRS-D4 and SRS-D5 PC Speakers

Sony intros three new compact PC speakers model, designed for everyday needs and capable of handling a wide range of output,  the compact SRS-A3, and the SRS-D4 and SRS-D5 models which are joining to the gaming and video optimised Sony SRS D Series.

The compact 2-channel SRS-A3 speakers are ideal companion for your laptop, they pack 57mm Ferrite drives with 150 – 20,000 frequency range, backed by integrated digital amplifier and are capable to deliver a total of 5W stereo sound with “controlled, punchy bass” thanks to a carefully engineered reflex port. The magnetically shielded cabinets are tilted “at precisely the right angle” to enhance audio quality and have a built-in controls and headphones jack.

The 2.1-channel SRS D4 speaker system is the entry-level of D Series line-up and offer total power output of 27W. The satellites are fitted with 46mm drivers, which features a distinctive raised border around the speaker grill, while the sub-woofer is packed with 95mm driver unit and has integrated power, volume and bass volume controls.

As for the SRS-D5 model, it is packed with Mega Bass feature and comes with 60mm speaker units for the satellites and 115mm unit for the sub, delivers total output of 40W (100-10,000 Frequency). The sub-woofer is constructed from medium density fibreboard (MDF) for improved sound quality and the controls are integrated into one of the satellites, which is handy if the sub-woofer is placed on the floor.
