Logitec shows off compact Wi-Fi router

Logitec Japan has unveiled the LAN-W300N/RS line of compact wireless internet routers. The novelty measures just 56 x 42 x 13.5 mm, weighs 23 grams (excluding the AC adapter) and targets people who are always on the go yet need network services.

The new Logitec router supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and in 802.11n mode the router reaches 300 Mbps of transfer rate. The wired interface includes a 10/100 Mbps downstream Ethernet connection, and a WAN uplink. Wireless security is provided by WPA/WPA2-PSK with 64-bit and 128-bit AES encryption as well as WPA2-PSK with TKIP and WEP.

Available in two colors – black and white – the router is expected in late May. In Japan the Logitec LAN-W300N/RS will cost 3570 Japanese yen, which is around 44 USD.
