Active Media outs 2.5″ Predator V3 SATA-III SSD

Active Media Products releases a new SSD line, based on the new Marvell “Van Gogh” 88SS9174 SATA-III controller and offering read/write speeds of up to 410/200 MB/s.

The new 2.5-inch “server class” Predotor v3 SSD family come in aluminum casing, have MLC NAND flash memory, 128MB DDR3 DRAM cache, SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, 48-bit per 2KB ECC Error Correction, supports TRIM and NCQ,  and reaching up to 20,000 IOPS. The Predator V3 SSD also includes bad block management and wear leveling technology, it is backed by a one-year warranty and  is offered in 64GB and 128GB capacities for $199 and $339, respectively.
