ASUS rolls out PA249Q ProArt Series LCD monitor

ASUS has officially announced a new professional LCD monitor with uncompromising tech specs and image quality. The new PA249Q monitor belongs to the company’s ProArt Series and targets professionals, hardcore gamers and hardware enthusiasts by offering a huge 24-inch display at 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio – all based on AH-IPS (Advanced High-Performance In-Plane Switching) technology for vibrant and vivid colors.

ASUS keeps its promise for uncompromising quality – the PA249Q ProArt Series LCD monitor comes pre-calibrated at the factory for unmatched color accuracy and features independent six-axis color control for excellent space reproduction that reaches 99% Adobe Wide Gamut RGB, 100% sRGB and 120% NTSC. Furthermore the monitor supports 10-bit “deep color” for more natural transitions between hues. The tech specs also include brightness that reaches 350 cd/m2 and 80 000 000:1 ASUS Smart Contrast Ratio for better image contrast.

ASUS has prepared more technologies for the PA249Q ProArt Series LCD monitor – it comes with ASUS QuickFit Virtual Scale – a technology that displays on-screen guidelines for an actual-size preview of images prior to printing, ASUS Splendid Video Intelligence – a technology that automatically adjusts display settings for the best possible visual quality for the kind of image being displayed.

The PA249Q ProArt Series LCD monitor comes with DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI-D and D-Sub ports for connectivity and is capable of displaying content from two video inputs at the same time. In addition the monitor has a four-port USB 3.0 hub and can be mounted on a versatile stand with full tilt, swivel, pivot and height adjustment.
