Lenovo intros IdeaPad Y460p and Y560p multimedia laptops

Lenovo today introduced the two new multimedia laptops based on Intel Sandy Bridge processors – the 14-inch IdeaPad Y460p and 15.6-inch Y560p.

The two new notebooks feature a metal hairline etching exterior and are available with two interiors versions, metallic grey and white. They offer up to Intel Core i7 processors, up to 750 GB HDD storage and up to 8GB DDR3 1333 memory. The laptops also include Lenovo’s RapidDrive feature that combines 32GB SSD and HDD capacity to speed up system performance. Both models are equipped with JBL speakers and Dolby Home Theater, runs Windows 7 and will be available on January 11, 2011 with prices starting at $849.
