Acer launches Liquid Z3 smartphone

The Taiwanese company Acer has released its budget-oriented Liquid Z3 smartphone on the European market. The device is now available in black or white colors, features a sleek chassis and measures 109 x 60 x 10.4 mm for total weight of 120 grams.

The Liquid Z3 does not boast with power but even then the smartphone offers a 3.5-inch sensor display at HVGA resolution (320 x 480 pixels, 155 ppi), a dual-core processor at 1 GHz, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal memory, and a microSD card slot. The device also has a rear 3 MP camera, a GPS receiver, 802.11n Wi-Fi, a microUSB port, HSPA+ and a 2000 mAh battery. Acer will also have a second version with dual SIM card support.

The Acer Liquid Z3 sells for EUR 99. The smartphone runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
