The famous tech company Philips will soon release a new mid-range Android smartphone under the trade name Xenium W8500. The device comes in a dust- and water-resistant chassis that measures 132 x 71 x 12.3 mm with support for the IP67 standard. The Xenium W8500 weighs 171 grams.
The new Philips smartphone comes with a dual-core MediaTek processor at 1.2 GHz, a rugged 4.3-inch IPS display at HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels) with 180-degree viewing angles, 2 GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 32 GB), a GPS receiver, a rear 8 MP camera and a 1.3 MP camera. A 2400 mAh battery powers the device.
In Russia the smartphone will sell for RUB 11 500, which is around USD 370.
