Samsung Galaxy S III to come with quad-core processor

Samsung has officially confirmed the rumors that the Samsung Galaxy S III will come with a quad-core processor.

The upcoming smartphone has been in the talks for quite some time with numerous speculations as to what it will feature. As you may know, one of the speculations was that it would come with a quad-core processor, which has now become a reality.

An anonymous Samsung executive has confirmed the quad-core processor for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S III. According to him, the new smartphone will feature Samsung’s own Exynos processor.

The expected quad-core processor will likely be the Exynos 4112 model, running at 1.5 GHz.

Unfortunately there’s no launch day for the new smartphone as of now. Still the new device is expected around May or June this year.
