Sony’s Xperia A makes it to the FCC

Sony’s rumored Xperia A smartphone has surfaced on the web site of the US Federal Communications Commission, which means three things – the smartphone exists, is likely to

be released soon and the specs listed are official. Let’s take a peek.

The Sony Xperia A comes with a 5-inch display that works at Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 32 GB), a rear 13.1 MP camera with a BSI-CMOS sensor, a front 2.2 MP camera, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, LTE, a GPS receiver, a microUSB port and a 2300 mAh battery.

Looks like the Sony Xperia A will be a rather powerful device. The only problem is that we don’t have the pricing and the official release date.
