Silicon Power’s new 2.5″ Velox V20 series SATA SSD

Silicon Power today announces the new 2.5-inch Velox V20 series SATA Solid State Drive (SSD) which utilize SandForce controller and offering a maximum read-speed of 285MB/s and write-speed of 275MB/s.

Silicon Power claims that its new V20 SSD required only 13 seconds to boot into Windows and open up a program. The drives features AES-128 encryption, support TRIM Command, Garbage Collection and DuraClass technology, backed by three year warranty the drives are available in 40GB/60GB/120GB/240GB storage capacities.
