AOC reveals 16-inch USB-powered Monitor

AOC e1649fwu USB powered MonitorAOC has revealed a portable 16-inch monitor for users who want to extend their work on another monitor or share their presentations.

AOC’s 16-inch e1649fwu models does not require a power cord or VGA cable, it receives both – power and signal through the USB port, making it an ideal second monitor for your laptop. The monitor has LED panel with 1366×768 native resolution with brightness of 250/cd/m2, dynamic contrast ratio of 50,000,000:1 and a 5ms response time. It comes in black piano-polish finish  and is also equipped with built-in foldable stand that supports both portrait and landscape positioning, and can be also folded at the back of the monitor when not in use.

The AOC new USB Monitor will be available in October 2011, priced at $139.
