Dell Inspiron R notebooks get Sandy Bridge processors and switchable lids

Dell debuts its new Inspiron R series – the 14, 15.6- and 17.3-inch laptops which are equipped with the latest 2nd gen Intel processors an come with new SWITCH interchangeable lids  by Design Studio, which allows you to customize your laptop with “just a pop and a click.”

The new Inspiron R models are packed with newchiclet keyboards, HD webcams, SRS Premium Audio, Intel Wireless Display technology, USB 3.0 ports and according Dell improved battery life. The laptops have LED Anti-glare displays with 1366×768 resolution (except 17-inch which has 1600×900), can be with Intel Sandy Bridge Core Core i3, i5 and i7 processor options, up to 8GB of memory, HDD or SSD storage options, Blu-ray drives, and six or nine-cell batteries. About the graphics configurations -Dell Inspiron 14 is available with AMD Radeon HD 6000M series graphics, while the 15 and 17 models  are offered NVIDIA’s GeForce GT525.
