Super Flower comes up with world’s first 2 KW PSU

A few weeks ago Super Flower released several extremely powerful power supply units for personal computers that offered full 1600 watts of power. Now if you thought this could not be bested, think again – the same company has released the world’s first consumer-oriented 2 KW PSU. Yes, this thing offers 2000 watts of power!

The new PSU targets hardware enthusiasts, gamers and above all hardcore overclockers. This is the reason why it was developed with the renowned 8Pack overclocker, who is said to be the world’s number one specialist when it comes to overclocking PC components. No wonder then that the new PSU is called 8Pack 2000W Super Flower.

Here’s some “hard” technical data on the PSU – it measures 150 x 86 x 220 mm (W x H x D) and it includes a large 140 mm cooling fan, a fully modular design, one 20+4-pin ATX12V/EPS12V connector, one 8-pin EPS12V connector, one 4×4-pin ATX12V/EPS12V connector, nine 6+2-pin PCIe connectors, five 6-pin PCIe connectors and finally 18 x SATA, 5 x 4-pin molex and 2 floppy connectors. The PSU comes with a 5-year warranty too and is 80 Plus Platinum certified.

Needless to say the new 2000W power supply unit can handle anything you throw at it including 4-way SLI and 4-way CrossFireX configurations. It also comes with all possible types of protection, high quality Japanese capacitors, support for all types of motherboards and processors and materials that protect the environment.
