The maker of various gaming peripherals Cougar has announced the new 550M flagship gaming mouse, a device that is the result of many years of hard work with a single goal in mind – creating the world’s best gaming mouse.

The new 550M comes with a special ergonomic design that has been created with input from gaming teams from around the world and offers a unique shape that allows users to enjoy both high performance and long gaming sessions with almost no hand fatigue. The mouse also offers a high-end SDNS-3988 optical gaming sensor with 6400 dpi of precision and 1000 Hz of polling rate for extra fast response while gaming. Finally the mouse includes plenty of functionality including but not limited to DPI and polling rate control, button function customization, two RGB backlight areas, up to 21 different functions, three full configuration profiles and more.

The new Cougar 550M gaming mouse will be on the market in late July or early August for a price of USD 59. If this is too much for you, then take a look at the less capable 500M sibling of the 550M – this mouse comes with a 4000 DPI sensor and other functions and will sell for USD 39, when it becomes available during the same time period.
