Razer announced the Scarab gaming mouse mat

Gamers will welcome the new year with a new gaming mouse mat from Razer which will arrive on January 1st, 2011 – the Razer Scrab. It is actually a successor of  the Razer Destructor mouse mat, measures 350 (W) x 280 (L) x 3 (H) mm and feature Fractal 2.0 surface coated in light grey, which establishes a “highly responsive and uniform tracking system”, optimal for both laser and optical mice.

The Scarab hard mouse mat has a rubber base for better stability and Razer explains that the entire mouse mat is subdivided into very small areas, each of which displays self-similarity to its surrounding areas for precise movements, better responsive and tracking. It comes with a sturdy carrying case for easy transport for the price of US $39.99; EU €39.99.
