Active Media outs SaberTooth M1 mini SATA SSD

Active Media Products is bringing a new SaberTooth series solid state drive for the users who want to upgrade their notebooks. Called SaberTooth M1, this solid state drive measures only 51 x 30 mm and has mini SATA (mSATA) connector.

The lightweight drive makes use of JMF605 SATA controller, MLC NAND Flash,  SATA-II 3Gbps interface and is capable to deliver sequential read speeds up to 160MB/sec and up to 80MB/sec write speeds. The SaberTooth M1 comes with one year warranty, screwdriver and installlation guide, and is available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities for $75, $95 and $190, respectively.
