Dell releases 29-inch ultra wide monitor

Following LG to market the US computer giant Dell has launched a new ultra wide 29-inch monitor known as UltraSharp U2913WM.

The monitor bets on an IPS display and works at 2560 x 1080 pixel resolution. It also offers LED backlighting, 21:9 ratio, a 99 per cent Adobe RGB coverage, 5 ms of response time, D-Sub, DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort connectivity, a three-port USB 3.0 hub and a stand that will allow for height, tilt and swivel adjustments. Being ultra wide the Dell UltraSharp U2913WM offers 30 per cent more working space than regular 16:9 monitors.

Strangely enough the new ultra wide Dell monitor has become available on the Australian market first. There it costs nearly USD 690.
