LG debuts new Ice Cream Smart smartphone

LG has announced a new flip smartphone, designed for young people, that goes by the name of Ice Cream Smart. No, the smartphone does not run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich – it comes with Android 4.4.4 KitKat.

Judging from the specs the LG Ice Cream Smart is a mid-range device that leans towards the budget-oriented market segment. Here’s what you get – a Snapdragon 400 processor with four cores at 1.2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, a 3.5-inch display at 320 x 480 pixels, one rear camera at 8 MP, one front camera at VGA resolution and a 1700 mAh battery. The device measures 118.6 x 59.4 x 16.9 mm and weighs 138 grams.

The LG Ice Cream Smart will be available only in South Korea as of now and will sell for around USD 280. Who knows – later we may see it around the world too.
