Meitu M6 is a smartphone for selfies

There’s a new player in the world of smartphones and this is Meitu – a Chinese company that has a name very close to Meizu. Well, this is not Meizu, but Meitu and this company has already made a name for itself by releasing the M6 – a smartphone that has been designed exclusively for selfies.

The thing is that the Meitu M6 comes with a 21 MP front camera that will allow selfie lovers to take great pictures. The rest of the tech specs include a 5-inch AMOLED display that works at Full HD resolution, 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, a MediaTek Helio P10 processor with eight cores, Mali-T860 MP2 graphics and a 21 MP rear camera. The device is powered by a 2600 mAh battery and also includes Hi-Fi audio, a fingerprint reader, a Home button and support for China’s most popular payment systems. The Meitu M6 will sell for around USD 457.

Along with the M6 Meitu has presented one more smartphone that comes with two 21 MP cameras – the Meitu V4. This smartphone comes with a 5-inch AMOLED display that works at Full HD resolution, an 8-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor, 3 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. The smartphone is powered by a 2650 mAh battery and comes housed inside a leather-covered chassis. This premium smartphone will sell for around USD 610.
