iCá – Ban Ca Online

iCá – Ban Ca Online is a game that has found its way onto Google Play and moreover into a top spot in the New Games list of this online portal. So we decided to give it a shot.

Well, the app met us with a surprise – it apparently comes from a developer that does not use/speak English. We have the suspicion that a Vietnamese company stays behind this free Android game. So the thing is that iCá – Ban Ca Online does not use English – instead the app relies on this foreign language, presumably Vietnamese. This will immediately cause problems, because you will not be able to navigate the game but eventually you will find out how to play the game. This leads us to the gameplay – iCá – Ban Ca Online is all about fishing. You assume the role of a cannon that throws nets into a pond full of fishes, all kinds of marine creatures and even mermaids. You must hit a creature as many times as possible and at one moment in time the creature will be eventually caught into your net and you will be able to claim it. The problem is that the pond is full of creatures and if you aim into one, chances are another will come in front of your cannon and you will start hitting it instead! So you must be very quick if you want to catch a certain fish. Things will be further complicated by the fact that you will have competition in the form of other cannons, which we presume are controlled by other people from around the world. Each caught fish gives you new nets that you spend shooting so the goal is to survive for as long as possible and then end up with the highest score. The app comes with nice 2D visuals and nice sound effects so we cannot complain here.

iCá – Ban Ca Online is not a bad game – in fact it is dynamic, challenging and fun. The only problem with this one is that you cannot understand the language of the game, which cripples the entire experience to a large extent. This makes us tell you that it might be better if you look for another similar app on Google Play.

iCá – Ban Ca Online is here on Google Play.
