LG releases Watch Urbane smartwatch

LG has released a new smartwatch under the Watch Urbane trade name. The new company product boasts a chassis made of stainless steel and has support for the IP67 standard, which makes it dirt-, water- and shock-resistant.

The new smartwatch measures 45.5 x 52.2 x 10.9 mm and is available in two colors – silver and gold. The device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor inside with four cores at 1.2 GHz and Adreno 305 graphics. The display is 1.3 inches in size and sports P-OLED technology as well as 320 x 320 resolution. The smartwatch also has 512 MB of LPDDR2 SDRAM, 4 GB of eMMC internal memory, a 410 mAh battery and a number of sensors including a gyroscope, an accelerometer, a compass and more.

The device runs Android Wear and is fully compatible with other mobile devices, which run Android 4.3 or newer. The price of Watch Urbane is unknown, however.
