HTC starts sales of Desire XC smartphone

HTC has started the sales of a new budget-oriented smartphone – the Desire XC. The new company product comes with a 4-inch display at WVGA resolution (800 x 480 pixels) and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Inside the Desire XC offers a 1 GHz dual-core processor, 768 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal memory, a rear 5 MP BSI camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a GPS receiver, Beats Audio, support for two SIM cards and a 1650 mAh battery. Unfortunately the Desire XC lacks a microSD card slot but offers 25 GB of storage space in the Dropbox cloud service.

HTC asks for USD 275 for the Desire XC.
