Afterland

Afterland

Afterland is one of the strangest games we have seen on Google Play. The game belongs to the fantasy genre but has scary images inside so we cannot recommend it to children.

This free game for Android has something in common with Alice in Wonderland but things here get a turn for the worse. The whole atmosphere inside the game has something ominous. There’s the feeling that behind the scenes there’s something hidden and something evil that wants to do something bad to you. The story of the game takes you to a fantasy world that is in danger by an evil force so you will have to help. This is when you will realize that the game features gameplay that deals with cards all the time. You will have to place the cards in a battle order and then defeat the enemies that you will face. Each card belongs to a certain character, which has various traits represented as points. This is good but the pictures that represent the characters are scary – the creatures listed there look like they have been taken from a horror movie. The sound in the game is also ominous, which might be a problem for more sensitive people. The graphics are dark and all these features create a world that does not look that good.

It seems that the game has some charm, though, and it will definitely appeal to fans of the horror genre. The game has interesting gameplay given that you can live with the images you will see and will definitely appeal to people who like Alice in Wonderland, for example. We are not so sure for other people, though, so you can try the game and decide for yourself. In a few words we cannot recommend the game to small children and if you happen to be an adult you can try this app before you decide whether to keep it or not.

Afterland is here on Google Play.
