Dead Among Us

Dead Among Us

The name of Dead Among Us hints from the very beginning that the game is an action-oriented one. And it is – you are in for some zombie fighting!

Dead Among Us takes you to a future point in time when the world is overrun by zombies and you happen to be a survivor. So as you can see there will be a lot of killing to do – you will have to complete various quests related to surviving and defeating the zombies. The peculiar fact here is that you will not use firearms – instead you have a bow and arrows to stop the zombies. So get ready for some arrow shooting!

The simple fact that you have arrows and bows here hints that the game is in 3D. Yes, it is – Dead Among Us will treat your eyes with 3D graphics. Quite honestly they are not the best we have seen but they are well above average. This eye candy has a price, however – the game is 48 MB in size but it downloads a number of additional files and updates when installed and then it requires powerful graphics hardware in order to work smoothly. So, on some less powerful Android devices you might experience some choppiness. This is the place to say that the actual gameplay is hard – you have to aim first and then aim more precisely once again before you shoot or you won’t have a chance at hitting a zombie. Since you will be actively fighting zombies this means that quite often you will fail and you will have to start a level anew. There are some power packs inside the game for tough situations too but they cost real money and some people may not want to spend cash on them.

This is what Dead Among Us is all about. It is a nice action game that will appeal to fans of the genre or to people who simply want to kick some butt. The app is a tough one, so do not get too mad too quickly but other than that you will be treated with nice 3D graphics and you get all this for free. So there’s nothing to complain of.

Dead Among Us is here on Google Play.
