Transcend presents new portable SSDs

The popular Taiwanese maker or memory and memory products Transcend has presented its new portable SSDs known as ESD400.

The new company products come in black chassis that measure 62 x 92 x 10.5 mm and weigh 56 grams. They fully support USB 3.0 and offer capacities of 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB. The devices also offer a number of other technologies such as ECC error correction, Windows To Go support and a special function for data backup. As to performance they reach up to 260 MB/sec when reading and up to 225 MB/sec when writing.

The ESD400 solid-state drives can be yours for USD 110 (128 GB), USD 190 (256 GB), USD 350 (512 GB) and USD 700 for (1 TB). The SSD package also includes a USB data and power cable, a protection case and software for data encryption.
