SteelSeries unveils new Diablo III – themed gaming peripherals

SteelSeries today has introduced three new gaming peripherals for the Blizzard’s upcoming action RPG sequel Diablo 3. The new Diablo III-themed products include one gaming mouse, one headset and a pair of mousepads, one of which was already announced last year.

The SteelSeries Diablo III Headset features an over-the-head suspension design with closed-type, leather earcups. It comes in matte-black finish with “demon red”, LED illumination on the left and right side Diablo III logo slashes and around each earcup with  3 levels of pulsation options. The headset is equipped with 50mm driver units, an uni-directional retractable microphone, along with in-line volume and mute controls on the double-braided nylon cord with a USB connector. The Headset MSRP will be $119.99 / €119.99.

The Diablo III Mouse has ambidextrous shape with comfortable matte grip coating,  packs a laser sensor with up to 5,000 CPI, 7 ergonomically positioned buttons with a guaranteed lifespan of 10 million clicks. The mouse also offers “demon red” illumination on the scroll wheel, CPI Indicator, and Diablo III logo with 3 levels of pulsation. It has double-braided nylon cord and gold-plated USB connector, and comes with a special software that offers players a drag & drop Diablo III-themed interface with pre-defined skills and game commands. The SteelSeries Diablo III Mouse’s MSRP will be $69.99 / €69.99.

As a companion to the mouse, SteelSeries also offers two cloth mousepads with appropriate Diablo III artwork for the mighty Barbarian and the Witch Doctor. Both measure 270 x 320 x 2 mm, and offer optimized surface that ensures “smoothness and precision”, along with non-slip rubber base, which prevents the pad from sliding. Each will have a $14.99 / €14.99 MSRP.
