Fujitsu to sell notebook for women

Every once in a while digital device makers release unusual models of their popular products that should appeal to certain customers. Samsung is a good example – the company has been releasing smartphones for women under the La Fleur brand name for years.

Now Fujitsu will start selling a notebook that will be designed specifically for women. The Japanese company notebook will belong to the Floral Kiss line and will be on the market on May 23. The novelty will have a glossy chassis, based on red and white colors, a Power button and LEDs decorated with sparkling stones. The new notebook has been exclusively designed by women only.

We can’t go without the tech specs of the newcomer so here they are – the notebook will be based on a modern Intel Haswell Core i5-4200U processor with two cores at 1.6 GHz (2.6 GHz in Turbo mode) having very low power consumption and TDP of 15 watts. An Intel HD 4400 core will provide graphics. There will also be a 13.3-inch display at Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), 4 GB of DDR3 memory, a 500 GB hard drive, a DVD burner, three USB 3.0 ports, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The rest of the specs include a HDMI port, a card reader, a 1 MP web camera and Windows 8.1 64-bit. Users will also get Microsoft Office Home and Business and Kotrip, Scrapbook and BIKATUS applications as part of the deal.

The women’s notebook will cost USD 1865.
