Gigabyte presents Z87 motherboard

Following ASRock the Taiwanese Gigabyte Technology has presented its first high-end LGA1150 motherboard at the just finished CeBIT 2013 in Germany.

The Gigabyte GA-Z87X-OC is a high-end Z87-based motherboard desighed for overclockers. The board comes with an 8-phase VRM power system and sports four DDR3 memory slots for up to 64 GB of DDR3 SDRAM. The GA-Z87X-OC offers three PCI-E 3.0 x16 slots that work in x16/0/0, x8/0/x8 and x8/x4/x4 modes, one PCI-E 2.0 x16 slot, one PCI-E 2.0 x1 slot and two legacy PCI slots. Six SATA 3.0 ports provide storage and there are nine USB 3.0 ports, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, an 8-channel audio system, Gigabit Ethernet and a PS/2 mouse/keyboard port.
