We haven’t reviewed a racing game in a while but here’s one – Horizon Chase – World Tour. As always the app is free and runs on various Android devices.
Horizon Chase – World Tour is a large app – it weighs 189 MB so you must have some free space in order to download and use it but the sheer size of the app pays off – you will enjoy one of the best racing games we have played in a while. The game takes you to a virtual racing championship where your goal is simple but not easy – win and become the new racing champion.
The app makes you go through all menus that you can expect from a racing game – after a simple welcome screen you can take a look at the tutorial inside the app or go straight to the racing tracks where you must also choose a car to race with. Beginners will see a limited choice of tracks and cars but they should not be surprised – after each win you can race on new tracks or drive new cars. In addition to this there are power-ups inside the track that allow you to unlock new racing areas and new cars. You must also be careful with the fuel and make sure you do not run out; moreover saved fuel turns into points when you finish a level. Perhaps it is not necessary to mention that you should avoid hitting other cars while racing – you will not crash your car or fail a level – instead your punishment is lost speed and then chances are you will lose a few places. So climb the ladder and become the ultimate champion!
Horizon Chase – World Tour deserves kudos for the graphics and the sound as well – the game comes with really nice 3D graphics (although it lacks some depth and maybe details) and great sound that makes you want to race! We have no complaints here at all and we think you won’t too!
Like we said before Horizon Chase – World Tour is one of the best racing games we have seen in a long time. The game offers addictive gameplay, lots of adrenaline, fun, emotions and great graphics combined with great sound. Horizon Chase – World Tour has all the recommendations we can give so go ahead and enjoy this app now – you won’t regret it!
