Popstar Ice

Popstar Ice

Popstar Ice is a game that will initially deceive you. It looks like a matching game and in a way it is, but this is not your regular matching game.

Here you will get numerous levels to complete, which is a trait of most matching games, as well as certain level requirements that you must meet before you can proceed to the next level. The difference here in Popstar Ice is that you must match as many squares with the same color as you can regardless of their position in the square grid. The only prerequisite is that these squares must touch each other or in other words they must form a structure. Eliminate all of these structures and the remaining non-matching squares will disappear; if you have met the level requirements too, you will proceed to the next level. This is how simple Popstar Ice is and the app does not really have a tutorial too. The game does not shine in the graphics and sound departments but it will do. The visuals are in 2D only while the sound effects are decent. They are not the most important thing in games, though, and we believe that the gameplay has greater weight but fortunately for the developers of Popstar Ice, this app delivers.

Popstar Ice is a nice game that can be used as a time killer and then more. The game is also a nice break from other classic matching games because it comes with somewhat different gameplay, so if matching is your thing, you should try Popstar Ice.

The app is here on Google Play.
