Zombie Highway 2

Zombie Highway 2

It does not take a lot of effort to describe what Zombie Highway 2 is all about – this free Android game is obviously about zombies and highways, so we can easily say that the name of the app again says pretty much everything about the application. There’s more to it, though – you will try to survive here for as long as possible.

Zombie Highway 2 takes you to a fictional highway, which is infested with zombies. This is a problem but you get some help here – you get to drive an SUV, which protects you some and you even have a gun with a few bullets. The main goal of the game is to get as far as possible on the highway but as you can see the zombies will be a problem. To make things worse they will jump onto your SUV and will try to get you. To get rid of them you will have to scrape them off the SUV by using various rocks and other similar things that you can find on the highway while driving. If you find yourself in a desperate situation you can use the gun too – just remember, you have a few bullets only.

This is what the game is all about. Now we should also say a few words about the gameplay. First the game treats you with 3D graphics everywhere, which is nice! The price to pay for this eye candy is that the app is a bit large and at 182 MB in size it requires free space on your Android device and then a stable connection to the Internet but you know this already. Then there are no buttons to accelerate the vehicle and no buttons to make it turn left or right – instead you will be tilting your Android device left and right to make turns. This is not our favorite way of doing things but, oh, well, we will live. Then the game is a tough one so you will be dying quite often. If you get mad at such things then Zombie Highway might not be your best choice. Then we experienced some graphics problems – the highway was all black so we could not see the zombies really well. It might be just us but you should know about this bug. Sound is okay, though, so this is a nice thing. Moreover, the game allows players to upgrade their weapons and drive different cars, complete various challenging objectives and kill various types of zombies and we cannot do anything else but praise these in-game features. Nice job!

So what can we say about Zombie Highway 2? This is a game for action-oriented Android gamers and will appeal best to people who want to kick some zombie butt. Apart from all this we have some hard time recommending the game – it is not a bad app – it is just a hard one, and it has some problems here and there that can spoil the fun. But then again the game is versatile and has numerous options so you may like it.

Zombie Highway 2 is here on Google Play in case you want to check out this game before you download it.
