Tech specs of new MacBook Pro notebooks leaked online

The US tech giant Apple always works on newer and newer products but the practice there is to keep each and every new company product a secret until the product launch. Unfortunately every once in a while tech specs get leaked much to the displeasure of Apple.

This is the situation that we have today – Chinese sources have unveiled the tech specs of the new and upcoming generation of MacBook Pro notebooks with Retina displays. According to the Chinese Feng.com forum the new generation of MacBook Pro notebooks will have 15.4-inch displays and will be available in three different configurations. The first model will have an Intel Core i7 processor at 2.2 GHz, an Intel Iris Pro graphics subsystem and 16 GB of DDR3 SDRAM; the second model will offer an Intel Core i7 processor at 2.5 GHz, 16 GB of RAM and a discrete GeForce GT 750M graphics card with 2 GB of VRAM; the third model will have an Intel Core i7 chip at 2.8 GHz, 16 GB of DDR3 SDRAM and GeForce GT 750M graphics with 2 GB of VRAM. Storage will be provided by 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB solid-state drives. As a comparison the current MacBook Pro models have Core i7 processors at 2 GHz and 8 GB of RAM.

In China the first model of the new MacBook Pro generation will sell for USD 2320, the second model will cost USD 3035, while the third and most powerful one will be yours for USD 3846.
