Zopo presents super cheap Color S5.5 smartphone

Chinese smartphone makers are best known for offering powerful smartphones for little money because this is their market strategy. This trend has continued with one more new smartphone, called Color S5.5, which comes from a company called Zopo. For pocket change money you can get a capable smartphone that can even run Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The device features a 5.5-inch display that works at 1280 x 720 pixels and includes a MediaTek MT6735 processor, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory that can be expanded to 72 GB by using a single 64 GB card into the provided microSD card slot. In addition to this the Zopo Color S5.5 has support for two SIM cards and LTE and offers two cameras – one rear at 8 MP and another front at 2 MP. The smartphone uses a 3000 mAh battery and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop but Zopo says that the handset will be updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Zopo Color S5.5 is available in five colors – Cobra Blue, Arctic White, Onyx Grey, Sea Green and Fuchsia Pink and here we are getting to the most important point – price. The handset sells for just USD 59, which makes it cost the same money as the recently unveiled Doogee HomTom HT7 smartphone.
