Brothers in Arms 3

Brothers in Arms 3

Do you know what happens when you blend World War II and a regular desktop computer – you end up getting a game like Brothers in Arms.

The above statement is slightly incorrect as Brothers in Arms exists for Android too. If you look more closely you will soon discover an Android game called Brothers in Arms 3, which quite naturally should be the third game in this series. Fortunately for fans of the genre the Android version of this game offers very similar gameplay to the PC version which means you can now experience WW2 on your Android tablet or even smartphone.

The reason why we wanted to take a closer look at this game is that we wanted to see if an Android tablet could run such a 3D shooter. The answer is yes, but there’s much more to Brothers in Arms 3 for Android.

First – the game is huge. At 534 MB in size the application is easily the largest we have seen and used on Google Play as of now. It is so large it resembles a PC game of the 2000-2005 time period when games on CDs reigned supreme. The huge size pays off, though – Brothers in Arms 3 is one of the best games, if not the best game, we have played so far. First, the graphics is amazing – everything is in color, everything is in 3D and it feels like you are playing a 3D shooter for PC – you can look anywhere, shoot, move, reload, everything. This was some really amazing experience on an Android device. In addition we have the feeling that the game does not have high hardware requirements, although we might be mistaken as it needs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or newer to run as it should.

Anyway, what does Brothers in Arms 3 bring to the table? The answer is simple – the game brings fast-paced action amidst World War 2. In other words you will find yourself in Northern France in June 1944 and you will have to kick some German butt. Moreover, expect various missions here and there and if you complete them successfully you will also see the end of war in Europe. Like we said Brothers in Arms 3 for Android feels like the same game for PC, which is great!

Interested? We bet you are, especially if you are a fan of the genre. Given you have the nerves to wait for 534 MB to download and powerful enough hardware you should experience this game – it is simply excellent!

Brothers in Arms 3 is here on Google Play.
