Office Rumble is an Android game that we have never seen or heard of before. Don’t get us wrong – we haven’t heard of it because we haven’t reviewed it – but there is more to this app. The thing is that it has been designed from the ground up to be a stress reliever game where you can beat your boss and become a menace to the unfair society that you live in and hate so much.
The app is around 36 MB in size, which isn’t that much but we were not nicely surprised when we started the game for the first time. It turns out that it has to download 34 more files from the Internet before you can actually start the game. This takes a while so if you think you will be able to run and play Office Rumble the minute you download it you are wrong. The good news is that the game has really catchy and nice music that puts you right in the action so waiting for the files to download and get installed may not be that hard at all.
Once you get into the game you will see why you had to wait for so long. Office Rumble is clearly an ambitious project with tons of options, stories, and ways to advance and manage who you are. But on the outside the game is basically a 3D fighter game where you have to beat your opponents in all the ways possible. Thus Office Rumble resembles old games such as Street Fighter, for example. Navigating the game while fighting is easy – the left half of your display blocks your opponent’s punches, while the right half is used to land strikes. Once done with the fights you enter numerous menus where you develop your character, meet new (virtual) people and mean bosses and more. In addition everything is made with a fine sense of humor, which adds a lot to the game. It turns out Office Rumble is perfect for people who are fed up with working for large corporations and ultra-rich CEOs that don’t care about them.
Office Rumble is a really nice game and we think you will enjoy it too. The game takes a while to download and be run but the time spent waiting is not lost as you will soon enter a world full of fun and action! Just have the patience to get the app installed and then learn how to play it.
