Nintendo 3DS

Nintendo has just announced in Japan via press release, the company’s next handheld console named as Nintendo 3DS on which games can be enjoyed with 3D effects without the need of 3D glasses.

The new handheld will have backward compatibility with DS and DSi games and will be launched “during the fiscal year ending March 2011”. No pictures, pricing and software details are available at the moment, but Nintendo plans to reveals more details at E3 press conference this year on June 15.
