Corsair announced Force Series 3 SSD

The company Corsair also announced its newest solid-state storage solution, based on SandForce’s SF-2281 controller. The Force Series 3 SSD family feature 2.5-inch form factor, come with  SATA III 6Gbps interface and offers up to 550 MBps read and 520 MBps write speeds, and 85,000 IOPS.

The drives come with  3.5″ adapter for easy replacement if you want to change your old, mechanical hard drive with an SSD,  and will be available later this month in 60GB, 120GB and 240GBcapacity for$139, $219 and $499, respectively.
