The Korean tech giant LG has announced two new laptops – the N550 and N450 – that are both based on Intel’s latest Ivy Bridge chips and sport sleek and thin chassis.
As the product names suggest the N450 model is the cheaper offering but this does not make it slow. Packing either an Intel Core i7 or Core i5 Ivy Bridge chip (depending on the customer’s demand) the N450 offers a 14-inch display at 1366 x 768 pixels and a DirectX 11 Radeon HD 6750 graphics card. You will also find all usual expansion and connectivity ports on the N450 too.
The more expensive N550 model is also based on Intel Core i7 or Core i5 Ivy Bridge processors but sports a larger 15-inch HD Plus display at 1600 x 900 pixels as well as support for stereoscopic display. Again, the N550 comes with an AMD Radeon HD 6750 graphics card.
The N450 is expected to cost 1480 USD, while N550’s price is still unknown.
