Lenovo announces water-resistant smartphone with dual SIM cards

The Chinese tech company Lenovo has officially announced the A660 smartphone that not only offers support for two SIM cards but also comes with resistance to water and other threats to the fine electronics inside.

The Lenovo A660 runs Android 4.0 natively and offers a 4-inch WVGA display with Gorilla Glass technology, 1 GHz processor, VGA front camera, 5 MP rear camera and a battery that comes with 1500 mAh of power. Finally apart from being water resistant, the A660 is also dust-proof being housed in a chassis that fully complies with the IP67 standard. Unfortunately there are no other specs regarding amount of RAM, connectivity options and so on.

The Lenovo A660 will become available in China but pricing and availability are unknown. Later on the A660 may appear around the world too but this has to be confirmed.
